Hi everybody!

Well, finally I found a bit of time to post and I have a few news. If you have seen the solicits for the month of August of DC Comics that just have appeared you could see that my name appears in the issue 21 of The Outsiders, and if you remember, I told you that I could tell you my new project that went to start in august when the solicits appear. Well, that's it! The truth is that this wasn't to be the project I went to do, although I think that I can't tell you which one went to be, but after do some pages for the issue 19 of The Outsiders, I told DC that I was having a LOT of fun doing it, and I LOVE the work of Peter Tomasi, and well, then I received the offer to be the new ongoing penciller, that make me very happy. This book have all that is fun to draw. After a run in this tittle, I'm already booked for a couple more of project that I only can tell you that they will be AWESOME and BIG. I'm really excited about my near future!!

I didn't post any pic for a long time. Sadly all the comic work is top secret until is published, and although I hate post old stuff, here you have a page from a couple of years that I have seen in the recently discovered deviantart page of Jesse Delperdang . A great inker with the one I had the luck of work, although only for a short time as always happens with my favourite inkers. They are so good that they are too busy. Hopefully we can work together one time. Take a look a his gallery, not only is a great inker, but also a great penciller.

Quick update

Sorry, but I didn't had a lot of time in the last weeks or in the next ones to post a lot.
I only wanted to tell you that finally as my next proyect will be a bit delayed, I have done the last half of the thirth issue of the Oracle miniseries, and I'll do too the issue 19 of The Outsiders, that will let me work again with the great Peter Tomasi with the one I have already done the JSA Kingdom Come special Magog.
I hope post some pictures soon!

JSA Origins & Omens

Here you have the pages for the Origins & Omens story for JSA. As I told you, this will be the last time I'll work with them in the near future :-( but I can tell you that was absolutely awesome the chance I had. And I'm really excited for start to work in the next project. I don't know when I will start exactly to work on it, but finally the release date won't be in June. But before that you'll can see my work in the first 2 issues of Oracle: The Cure doing 6 pages in the first, and 17 in the second. I hope that you like them, although weren't done in the best of the conditions. The pages for the first issue were lost, so the inker had to work from a bad scan of the poor copies I did before send them. I can imagine what he thought when he saw with what he had to work. Also, I had to do the last 10 pages of the second issue in 9 days. That kind of things happens when you do fill in job. I hope that being the main penciller in the new project I'll can have more time and a better planning and that the result reflects it.

I'm posting the JSA pages in black and white because as the schedule was tight and I had to ink them, I have the scans. I send you an unpublished version for the first page, and the original first panel of the page 5 that later was changed in the prnted version. I hope that you like them, and as soon as I can, I'll tell you about the new project.

ORACLE ORIGINS & OMENS

As DC have already post the pages I think that I can do the same. Here they are them bigger than in their site, but as I don't have a lot of time to scan them, I'm posting a scan I have found. Sorry because it isn't very sharp.

Also today is the release date of JSA 24 where appears the JSA Origins & Omens I did.

I just have found a ( not perfect) scan of the variant cover I did last year for the first issue of the great run that Sterling Gates and Jamal Igle are doing in Supergirl.

HELLO!!

Sorry very much for the VERY long absence. These last months have been a bit tumultuous months. Or I have been very busy, or I was working in something I couldn’t post. After some last time change of plans finally I’ll be working for the USA comic market full time. I apologize to the people that were following Les Fils de la Louve, but I really couldn’t keep doing it for personal stuff, the staff of Le Lombard is really awesome. The series is in good hands. The new artist is really great.

Well, as I tell you, I will be working full time for DC for the near future, finally in a new ongoing that was announced in the NYCC, but like the name of the creators wasn’t told, I don’t know if I can say it. The series will start in June.

Before that, last week have appeared the final issue of Bird of Prey ( issue 127) where appears the Origins and Omens story I have done. This week will appear the one that I have done for Justice Society of America # 24, that sadly is my last job for the title. I really have loved the experience and I will be always really gratefully to Geoff, Alex, Eddie, Adam, Michael and Harvey for let me be part of it. DC is posting in its site the Origins and Omens stories, so as soon as they post mine, I’ll scan the pages in a good size and I’ll post here ( I’ll try to post more often here… REALLY :-D )

Also I just have finished in this moment some pages for help with the schedule of the first issue of the Oracle miniseries ( you’ll love the story). I will also do some pages for the second issue. I’m not sure about the third. After that, I’ll start with the new ongoing, that will let me work with both great and beloved writer and character. I’m looking forward for can start with the fun!

Hi there!

Well, finally I have returned to the blog. Sorry very much for the long absence, but I was VERY BUSY this last months .I wanted to say thanks to the people that lend comments and that visit the blog and make you know that yesterday was released the issue 16 of Justice Society of America the one I have pencilled ( I also did a little thing for the issue 15) as always with an amazing script of Geoff Johns and also with 2 completely awesome pages ( and a panel) of Alex Ross. I just have finished too the issue 17, on sale next month, and if you like the story of the issue 16 you will love the one of the 17, it’s completely awesome, and I’m very grateful for can have do it, in my opinion the best script of the series ( and for what how finish the issue 17 looks that the next issue, the 18, will overcome it).
Of course, I keep with the back-ups for Tangent: Superman’s Reign and I took notice that the issue 4 of Les Fils de la Louve (my French series) will be released in August.

Well, I hope update the blog more often. I see you next time!!
