ION

A couple of weeks ago I have finished a childhood dream, to draw a superhero comic book.
I grew up reading superhero comics. My big contact with the world of the BD was when I started to work for Le Lombard and I started to read a lot of them for understand better. So this year I left behind my holiday month (goodbye to my siestas ;-D) to work on the super-hero project. Draw a fill-in issue of ION, a miniseries part of one Dc Comics´ franchise, Green Lantern. This was a hard project because the regular artist in the series is Greg Tocchini, a drawer with an amazing talent, and I knew that I would do it much worse than him, but well, this going to happen most of the times in my career :-P
Was a great experience that I hope to repeat.
By the moment, I paste here the solicitation for this book:

ION #10
Written by Ron Marz
Art by Fernando Pasarin & Greg Tocchini
Cover by Kalman Andrasofszky
The “Twilight” of Ion begins as Kyle is torn between a menace from the New Gods and a personal tragedy back home. The clock is ticking for Kyle to discover place in the universe.
On sale January 31 • 10 of 12 • 32 pg, FC, $2.99 US

I hope that you enjoy it.

FIRST POST

Well, I start with this post my own blog. I think that I'll write my comments in ( a poor) english, that way, most of the people could understand me ( sorry, I don't know write french, although I can read it more or less ;-D).
Here I'll try to post a bit of my work ( what I can show) and a bit of more rare things. I hope that you enjoy it. All the comments are wellcome.

For start, here you have the cover I did last year for the second book of Les Fils de la Louve ( at the sale since June of this year), the series I'm doing for Le Lombard with the writer ( between other things) Patrick Weber . Here you can see it full size and without the logo. Click on the image for a bigger scan. And here for a bigger one yet.
